HBC Logistics is a same day dedicated courier based in Stratton Business Park in Biggleswade (SG18 8YL). Running a 24/7 operation, we specialise in providing an end-to-end logistics solution that is designed to streamline your business performance and growth. Our comprehensive range of services include same day, palletised and international deliveries, storage and fulfilment and overnight parcel services.
We are stationed in a 62,000-square-foot unit with office space, exclusive HGV yard and an impressive Warehouse facility boasting over 7,500 pallet spaces at which we are at close capacity. Over the years, our growth in demand for storage has soared exponentially, and we are now preparing to manage and maintain our customers and any further growth in upcoming months.
The Role
- Position: Warehouse Operative
- Term: Temp/Full-Time
- Hours: Mon-Fri 12:00-22:00
- Salary: TBD
- Based: HBC Logistics Ltd, Stratton Business Park, Biggleswade, SG18 8YL
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklift trucks and powered pallet trucks
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised and safe at all times
- Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Forklift experience
- Must be Counterbalance Driver qualified
- Eager to learn and upskill
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines within an operating warehouse environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
