We’re delighted to share some exciting news: HBC Logistics has been acquired by DX, a leading provider of logistics solutions across parcel, freight, document, fulfilment and final mile.
In the eight years since HBC Logistics began, there have been several exciting milestones that we have achieved as a business – exponential growth and multiple award wins, to introducing pallet network and international delivery services, relocating into our 62,000 sq ft Biggleswade facility and becoming a Carbon Neutral business. Today marks our next big chapter, as we become part of DX, a larger logistics company with ambitious plans for the future.
For our customers and followers, our day‑to‑day approach remains centred on the same service standards and relationships you expect from HBC. This move gives us the backing of a 50-year, well-established company with greater national reach and ongoing investment in service, infrastructure and people.
Ben Weldon, Director of HBC Logistics, said:
“DX is passionately committed to serving its customers’ needs and, culturally, we share the same values. This makes for a very good union. We have been impressed by DX’s growth trajectory and are excited by their ambitious plans for expansion. We look to the future with confidence.”
Dave Northfield, Director of HBC Logistics, added:
“This next step with DX brings many opportunities for our team, our customers and the future of the business. We’re proud of what we’ve built at HBC and joining DX means we can keep building, now with even greater scale and support behind us.”
We’ll be sharing more updates over the coming weeks, but in the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to your usual HBC contact or get in touch on 01462 410004 or serviceteam@hbclogistics.co.uk.
