On Friday 9th December 2022, Councillor Grant Fage visited HBC Logistics’ new premises in Stratton Business Park to officially open us up for business.
We recently celebrated HBC Logistics’ fifth birthday with pride, and we chose to celebrate that significant milestone with a complete relocation and facility upgrade. At present, we are now happily settled in our brand new offices and have an almost completely full warehouse, consisting of over 60,000sq ft of space.
Just 43 miles from London, our new facility resides in the established Stratton Business Park in Biggleswade – home to a number of national businesses a few being customers of ours. The site is a whopping four times the size of our prior Baldock facility, to manage the latest (and upcoming) growth of our team and overflowing enquiries for storage and deliveries.
“Considering where we began five years ago, it’s incredible to see how far we have come,” says Ben Weldon, Director at HBC Logistics Ltd. “This is just the beginning of HBCs growth and we can’t wait to see what the future brings for this company.”
Therefore, to commemorate this huge new milestone for HBC, we invited our good friend and Mayor of Biggleswade, Grant Fage, to officially open the premises and welcome us to the area.
The directors have been smiling from ear to ear since the relocation, and rightfully so. Dave Northfield, HBC Director, comments: “Being born and bred in Biggleswade, I’m immensely proud to be expanding my company into this area. It has been the perfect end to another successful year at HBC.”
And Dave is right – it has been an incredibly successful year for HBC. Asides from our continued growth and our huge relocation, there are a number of achievements we have made in 2022 that is worth bragging about – including raising £5,000 for the Garden House Hospice charity and being rewarded Highly Commended for Best Use of Technology at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2022.
HBC’s Director, Steve Ketteridge, also reflected: “We are excited at the possibilities that this new storage facility provides for HBC, not only expanding our community but because the capacity of this warehouse have enabled us to increase our storage offerings to our clientele.”
We’d like to thank Grant for making the time to visit our site, it was brilliant to have him there. Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
