JOB ROLE & QUALIFICATIONS
A hugely successful logistics company currently based in Biggleswade specialising in Same Day deliveries, Warehouse Storage, Pallets, Overnight, European and International deliveries is looking for an outgoing, ambitious individual who will join our warehouse team as a Picker/Packer in providing a top quality, market leading logistics service.
Responsibilities
- Pack products according to specified guidelines and procedures
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate products
- Load and unload shipments as needed
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of packed items
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating packaging machinery
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
